American Indian Tribe Buys Hard Rock Café

The New York Times reports that the Seminole Tribe of Florida has purchased Hard Rock International for $965 million, one of the largest purchases ever by an American Indian tribe.
A Seminole council representative said “Our ancestors sold Manhattan for trinkets. We’re going to buy Manhattan back, one burger at a time.”
